Our team brings many years of experience in handling dispute resolution and complex litigation relating to intellectual property matters in Israel. Among others, our team handled numerous anti-counterfeiting matters, enforcement and litigation pertaining to patents, copyright, trademarks, trade dress, unjust enrichment, cybersquatting, trade secrets and related issues. We represent clients before all instances, including the lower courts (the Magistrate's and District Courts) and the Supreme Court, as well as before the Patent and Trademark Office. Our team has successfully handled all kinds of proceedings, including civil claims, preliminary proceedings under stringent timetable, Anton Pillar orders, opposition and cancellation proceedings, mediation, etc.
Our team also has in-house experience and understands the client's business perspective. Our primary goal is to provide cost-effective solutions. In this respect, we believe that it is possible to obtain excellent results through cooperation with the authorities, especially in anti-counterfeiting matters. For instance, Customs seizures and police raids can be both efficient and cost-effective alternatives to litigation. For that end, we have developed excellent working relationships with the local IP Unit of the police and the relevant Customs officials. We also believe that an initial investigation and an appropriate factual research are imperative in order to obtain meaningful results. For example, it is absolutely worthwhile to trace the importer/manufacturer/distributor of counterfeit or infringing products rather than spending the enforcement budget on chasing small outlets and shops in open air markets. For that end, we engage professional investigators and conduct thorough research before choosing the appropriate course of action.
