Since becoming a lawyer in 1998, Dan has been focusing his entire career on intellectual property counseling and litigation. Dan has significant experience in representing some of the world's largest companies in complex litigation relating to IP rights (in both patent, trademark and copyright matters), in handling inter-partes proceedings (opposition, interference, cancellation, etc.) before the Israeli Patent & Trademark Office, in managing large local trademark portfolios of famous brands, and in enforcement of IP rights, including through collaboration with the authorities (such as Customs and the IP unit of the Israeli police). Dan has led many IP cases to successful resolution, and obtained some of the most important and precedential decisions given by the Israeli courts in IP matters in recent years. Dan is also an active member in international IP organizations and committees, a frequent lecturer on IP rights in Israel, and a regular writer on IP developments in Israel in major international publications and local press.
