Unilever, the proprietor of the famous trademark Dove & Dove Device with respect to cosmetic products, filed an opposition to an application to register a Dove Device with respect to cosmetic products. The Trademark Registrar rejected the opposition but the Supreme Court overturned the decision and ordered that the opposition should be accepted.
